Typical Status Values
- Enabled – the protection is active
- Recommended – the protection should be enabled
- Not Applicable – the environment does not support this control
- Conflict Detected – another configuration may override it
Hardening controls focus on safe, reversible configuration improvements rather than intrusive behavior.
